3/4 cup granulated Sugar
1 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
2 tea spoon ground cinnamon
3/4 tea spoon ground clove
1/2 tea spoon ground nutmeg
1 table spoon cocoa
1 cup of grape molasses (petimezi)
1/2 cup of olive oil or vegetable oil
2 table spoon cognac
2 table spoons of orange juice
2 table spoons of lemon juice
Method
In a bowl, add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and the cocoa (it gives an extra chocolate tasty but don’t add it if is not at your taste) whisk all together.
In a mixer add the grape molasses (petimezi), olive oil or vegetable oil, cognac, orange juice, lemon juice and the sugar and blend together until it dissolves. Then gradually pour your liquid into the flour mixture until they are combined into a dough like mixture and the consistency is thick enough.
Roll the dough and shape it into a circle, place them into a pan with baking sheets. Bake them into a pre heated over at 180 for 20 minutes. Dunk into tea and enjoy!
